HouseCAD - Download area
This document presents HouseCAD application with its most important functionalities.
The Demo version of HouseCAD permits to evaluate the main features of HouseCAD before to purchase the Pro version. This version will run for a maximum of 7 days.
In order to install the software, you need, as prerequisites, .NET Framework 3.5 and DirectX 9.0 installed on your system.
To install NET Framework 3.5, please follow the following steps (we have considered the case of a user that has Windows 10 installed on its system; for other versions of the operating system, the steps are similar):

IMPORTANT: for Windows Vista users, you need that both the installer and the application itself are executed with an administrator user, or disable the "User Account Check" under: Control Panel -> User Account.

In order to install the software, you need, as prerequisites, .NET Framework 3.5 and DirectX 9.0 installed on your system.
To install NET Framework 3.5, please follow the following steps (we have considered the case of a user that has Windows 10 installed on its system; for other versions of the operating system, the steps are similar):
- Start the command line (Menu Start > Windows System > Command Line)
- Type gpedit.msc
- Select, from the left-side tree, the items Computer configuration > Administrative templates > System
- Double click, on the right-side tree, on Specify settings for optional component installation and component repair
- Select the items Activated and Contact Windows Update directly to download repair content instead of Windows Server Update Services (WSUS) and click on OK.
- Open the Control Panel (Menu Start > Windows System > Control Panel)
- Click on Programs > Programs and features > Turn Windows features on or off
- Enable the item NET Framework 3.5 (includes NET 2.0 and 3.0) and click on OK.

The Pro version includes all the software features, without any restriction. In this version it's possible to:
load and save projects; |
| create polygonal shapes of any size; |
| lock and unlock polygonal shapes; |
| import other projects in the current one; |
| read the help guide; |
| add and edit materials and 3d objects. |
