DRM Platform
Digital right protection for digital media on Internet
The following is the presentation of a DRM Platform developed by K4ICT. A DRM Platform is a distributed web application, made up by several web services, that aim to protect the author's rights for some digital contents that you can purchase on Internet. The purchased digital contents will be associated to the buyers; in this way, the user can't share freely his purchased digital content because, if the content is sent to another user, it will be possible to retrieve, with specialized protocols and analysing the file itself, the information of the real owner of the content.
K4ICT extends the concept of DRM Platform, introducing a player suitable to reproduce the digital contents. This player is the only one that permits to benefit of the digital contents purchased with the K4ICT's DRM Platform.
This document presents the DRM platform with its most important functionalities.
